MEET SIERRA
Photographer. Farmer. Cat Snuggler. Chaos Coordinator.
Twelve years ago, I asked my husband for a camera as an anniversary gift… and the poor guy hasn’t known peace since. That one little request turned into a full-blown, all-consuming love affair with photography... because capturing people’s laughter, love, and that one fleeting second where no one’s blinking or crying? That’s my jam.
I specialize in weddings, senior portraits, and family sessions—aka organized emotional rollercoasters where someone is usually crying happy tears and at least one toddler is sticky for no explainable reason.
I’ve been married to Joe, my favorite redhead, for 13 years. He’s my best friend, partner-in-crime, and the man who quietly tolerates my growing zoo of animals, my rainbow obsession, and the fact that I absolutely will cry over a particularly beautiful sunset.
Speaking of zoos, we live on a farm that’s home to an ever-expanding collection of dogs, cats, goats (so. many. goats.), donkeys, cows, and the occasional “surprise animal” that mysteriously appears and somehow never leaves. If it has fur, hooves, or a name it probably lives here. If it doesn’t have a name, just give me five minutes.
I’m also a Crazy Cat Lady™ and live for a good snuggle with one of my feline coworkers. I’m the kind of farm mom who sings to her animals like she’s starring in her own Broadway show—because why not?
Outside of photography, I thrive on iced coffee, dirty Dr. Peppers, margaritas that are just strong enough to convince me that I can dance, and pasta that makes me question why I ever pretended to like salad. I’m a proud Cool Aunt™ to the world’s most awesome nephew and a hilarious, sarcastic, and beautiful niece who inherited her aunt's entire personality. Sorry, not sorry.
Oh, and did I mention I have a giant, magical garden bursting with color, flowers, fruit, and enough zucchini to supply a small country? If I’m not holding a camera, I’m probably elbow-deep in soil, arguing with a cucumber vine.
Basically, if you’re into real moments, ridiculous laughter, and photography that feels like home—with a side of goat—you’ve found your girl.
But stay awhile, take a look around, and the text me when you're ready to schedule and create some memories with me!
With love, Sierra
